Dr. Humphries was born in Lubbock, Texas. After university, medical school, and residency, he spent one year in group practice in Western Alabama, then worked for an HMO in Ft. Worth, Texas. He has been at Hope Medical Group in Macau since March, 1996. He is married to Stella and has two boys: Timothy born 2002, and Jonathan born 2004. He enjoys tennis, golf, reading, and time with family.
